RSS Screensaver ...

For quite a long time now, I've been thinking about an Informational screensaver - something that shows me news updates when the screen is locked. Obviously, the best way to do this is to obtain news via RSS feeds. My search for such a tool lead me to

MSN RSS Screensaver

I found another one on the net from NuParadigm, but had installation problems.

Does anyone have other recommendations ?

I don't have a off the shelf solution, but there are a few xscreensaver demos (phosphor, for example) which will display the output of a text program. Now we can have a command line RSS aggregator, which may take a few feeds and simply print the relevant text (I wonder if it exists already, otherwise it'd be 20 lines of python?). Plumb these two together and you get what you want!
