Broadband: Provide connectivity to private operators, TRAI to BSNL

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Saturday told Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to open up its last mile connectivity to private operators for broadband usage.

TRAI Chairman Pradip Baijal told BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A K Sinha at an international communication and computing conference at the IIT campus here that instead of losing the value of such a huge network, it was best to work jointly to fully leverage the potenial.
